Take a minute to list the top 5 things you love in your life. Did you make the cut? I sure hope so because you deserve to be at the top of that list. I know as women loving ourselves is often times one of our biggest struggles. That’s why this fall I’m challenging you to fall in love with yourself!
Ribeira Step one: Give yourself credit for being the amazing person you are! One of my favorite ways to do this is to journal. At the end of the day it’s so refreshing to look back and list all of the things I have accomplished. Maybe you’re not much of a writer, that’s ok. Take some time each day to take a good look at yourself in the mirror and compliment yourself. While we’re at it feel free to through in a few positive affirmations because who doesn’t need an extra dose of positivity in their day?

I encourage you to make a list of things you’ve been wanting to do. It can be checking out a local attraction such as a museum or restaurant, trying out a new workout class or art class, reading a book that’s been on your list, or even just taking nice hot bath. Get that list going and try to consistently check things off. Think of it as dating yourself.
Step 3: Do the shoot! I know it sounds cliche for me to say but it’s true. What better way to give yourself credit for the amazing person you are AND do something you love? I don’t want to sound like a broken record but I absolutely guarantee a boudoir shoot is one experience you will never forget. It’s a sure way to fall in love with yourself and see yourself in a whole new light.

One of my favorite “sets” at my home studio is the pool set. I can’t help but think of a Sports Illustrated cover whenever I get to shoot with my clients out here <3 We recently added a cabana to the mix with a fun boho vibe and I can’t get enough of it!
One of the cool things about adding the pool set to your boudoir session is the variety it adds to your session. Instead of lace and garters, think bikini and a floppy hat. Trade those stilettos for bare-feet 😉

So I’ve got to share about my exciting experience at WrinkleFreeMD. A couple of weeks ago I went and saw Dr. Porter at her beautiful med spa in Leander. For a while now, I’ve been wanting to try out a lip filler just to give my lips a little extra volume. I definitely wasn’t wanting anything too obvious or duck-like…just a nice boost to my pucker.
